Bullet Resistant Glass
Bullet resistant security glass - classified from BR1 to BR7 and SG1 / SG2, certified to European standard EN 1063.
- Non-splintering: no perforation of the glazing by the bullet or parts of the bullet, and no perforation of the witness foil by glass splinters from the rear face.
- Splintering: no perforation of the glazing by the bullet or parts of the bullet, but with perforation of the witness foil by glass splinters from the rear face.
- Test method: shooting test with weapons / guns.

Performance

Bullet Resistance Glass System
- Tested in EN 1063 - bullet-resistant glazing. BR1 to BR7 classifications (handguns to rifles)
- Tested in EN 1522 / EN 1523 - bullet-resistant windows, doors, shutters and blinds. FB1 to FB7 and FSG classifications, testing the complete system (glass + frame + fixings)
- Tested in NIJ 0108.01 - ballistic resistance of protective materials, aligned with law enforcement requirements
- UL 752 (U.S.) (selected level only) - Levels 1 to 10, from small-calibre handguns to high-powered rifles. Level 10 is the highest, resisting military rifle threats
